How it works

The client names the priority characters (for Fanart) / sends character references (for OC), briefly describes the idea of the illustration, and the artist implements the client’s idea, based on their artistic vision.
The client is required to name the format of the illustration (Cel Render/HQ Render/Full Render, Bust/Midshot/Fullshot), the fandom (for Fanart), the number of characters in the illustration, and a brief description of the idea. Composition, background details, design details, pose, lighting, expressions are left to the artist.

Process

  1. Queue
    After payment, You join a queue of clients waiting for their commission. The artist will notify You when they begin working on Your order. If there is no queue, the artist will begin working on Your commission immediately after payment.

  2. Start
    The artist will begin working on Your commission immediately after payment.

  3. WIP Updates
    You can choose whether You want to monitor the work process (the ‘With WIP Updates’ option: the artist will send you screenshots of their work from time to time) or to keep the process secret until it is finished, but the artist will notify you at what stage they is currently at (the ‘Surprise Me’ option).

  4. ‘Total Artistic Freedom’
    You can also choose the 'Total Artistic Freedom' option. This means that in addition to the composition, background, design, etc., You also trust the artist with the idea of the illustration. In this case, you just name the characters you want, and the artist is responsible for everything else.

  5. Changes & Fixes
    Changes to the composition, background, lighting, or emotions, at the client's request, are not permitted. Only fixes to character design mistakes are permitted. By commissioning, You understand that You are completely trusting the artist's vision.

  6. Finish
    After finishing the artwork, the artist will ask for Your e-mail to send the artwork in original resolution.
    The artist publishes the artwork in low resolution with watermarks.

  • Private artworks

Payment

  • PayPal / Card via Lava.top (no registration needed).

  • One-time Full Prepayment OR Full Prepayment with Payment Plan.

  • No refunds.

  • Payment must be made within 48 hours after the artist has contacted You.

Payment Plan Rules

  1. Deadlines
    ❯    First deadline. The payment down: !! must be made within 48 hours after the artist has contacted You. ANY amount.
    ❯    Next payment deadlines: per one (1), two (2) OR three (3) weeks. ANY amount.

  2. The Artwork
    !! will be started only after the full amount has been paid.

  3. Refunds
    ❯    No refunds.
    ❯    If You have sent any part of the full amount and refuse further payment or ignore me, You will not receive the artwork and the amount You have already sent will not be refunded.
    ❯    Again. No refunds.

Usage & Rights

  1. For the Artist
    ❯    The artist publishes the artwork in low resolution with watermarks.
    ❯    The artist reserves all rights to the commissioned artwork, including use for prints, merchandise, and Patreon/Boosty/Lava.top content.

  2. For the Client
    ❯   You may use the artwork for personal use only.
    ❯    You may crop or resize it for non-commercial digital use (avatars, headers, etc.), but You may not alter the artwork or remove the watermark from the web version.
    ❯    Credit the artist is appreciated but not necessary.
    ❯    You do NOT have the rights to use the artwork for NFT and AI training.
    ❯    You may not profit from the artwork or its use in any form, digital or physical.
